I'll write an actual entry soon, but I loved this too much to pass up sharing it. I am moved and inspired each time I see it.

I love that video too. I had the great fortune to be in downtown Seattle when Barak Obama was in town and the mood on the street was electric. I was unable to get into the event because thousands of people got there before me, but I watched as hundreds of people walked to Key Arena with their Obama buttons on and they were all smiling and laughing despite the very cold weather we were having. Everyone was talking about him and for the first time in the last six years, I was beginning to feel that hope was in the hearts of all those walking past me.

The next day, Doug and I along with the kids went to our first caucus. I was hoping to witness intellectual debates and some good persuasion, but almost everyone there was wearing an Obama button or sticker. He was the front runner and once again everyone was happy and hopeful.
