First Word
Seth said his first word yesterday! At 7-and-a-half
months old! At first I thought it must have been a fluke or a coincidence, when
I said "Seth, do you want to eat?" And he said "Eht." I looked at him for a
minute, and then I said "Eat?" He said "eht" again. This morning, while we were
waiting for Babies 'R Us (why is there no backwards "r" on my keyboard?") to
open, he watched me eating my healthy breakfast of an oatmeal raisin cookie and
an iced tea, and when I looked at him, he said "eht" again. So it's officially a
word. I'm so proud, and I'm sure I'm annoying the heck out of him, asking him
"Eat?" every ten minutes, and then not always giving him something to eat. Oh
well. He'll learn about his crazy mommy very soon. I'm looking for a cute little
baby-sized bow tie for the wedding.....
