New Life

At my job, they have recently let go some major players. My boss, HIS
boss were both laid off. Now, the engineering manager from teh other
building has responsibility for my department as well. So far, he
seems like a very good guy, and interested in our well-beings and
success as employees. Instead of being only interested in the success
of his own interests.
There is still a black cloud hanging over this whole place though. No
one seems to be in a good mood, no one is motivated to get new
projects and start new things. But, I feel that there will be new
life once our new management gets to know their positions and new
responsibilities.

I also have new life in me! Amazingly, Chad and I are pregnant after
only being married a couple of months. This was quite a shock to us,
since we are still paying off the wedding debt! But, I am sure it
happened for a reason, and I'm sure we will be blessed by him/her.
We didn't plan on having children for a couple of years. I wish that
we had more time to settle down and get used to each other. I also
wanted to work out a way to be able to stay home full time after I had
children, but that can't happen now.
So, we have a lot of planning and preparations to do in the next 7 months!
