May 2005 Archives

On his five month birthday, he was clinging to his daddy like a little koala bear. The fifth month was so great because he had good torso control and could hold onto us when we held him. He would clutch at my shirt when he was hungry and his little hands were very strong. He now laughs out loud and enjoys singing. He also started to say, "oo," instead of "oh," or "ah."
Besides getting eight teeth he continued to progress rapidly.

Another month has passed and now he's five months old.

He's just maxin' and relaxin' on his five-month birthday.

Hold the phone! Don't call the authorities on us. We were just trying to document his teething progress and here's the proof. As soon as he smiles with all his teeth showing, we'll post it.

These are his teeth at five months and he's not too happy with this attempt to prove it.

He wasn't happy with our attempts to photograph his teeth.

Next time I'll use the fisheye lens to get a better photo.

Finnegan is a natural around the camera. He's such a perfect subject because he knows I'm behind the camera. This is right after his bath as he looks in the mirror.

Even when everything is wet in the tub, it still must go in the mouth. He loves his bath toys.

He's sitting up in the bathtub now and he actually likes it. The first time I bathed him in this tub, I didn't have any help and he didn't even cry. A small victory. This time we both bathed him and he even laughed.

He's developing an appetite for the finer foods in life.

Some how food is always better the second time around.

He really wants to bring the food to his mouth and he's quite insistent about getting to the food.

Rice cereal is pretty tasty.

Water is good.

He's a two-handed drinker.

Finnegan decided to take his new sunglasses out for a test drive. April 30th, 2005.

A very cool baby with his shades on
