Batting a Thousand

Finn is pulling out all the stops in an attempt to curry last-minute favor with Santa. Yesterday he helped me make several large batches of cookies - he can push the cutters in and paint the cutouts. Last night he slept in his own bed eleven hours straight! Next he helped make waffles and eggs for breakfast and ate grapefruit too. Then he went potty and flushed. Now, after I've dressed him, he came in pointing to himself and saying "mushcan, micky-sin" - I realized he was reading "Michigan" off his t-shirt! (or repeating what I've said about his shirt). He's been all smiles this week and just being as sweet as can be. He is 25 months old.
