July 20th, 2005 - Emerging language

Finnegan started saying, "Da Da." It was pretty exciting. He also says, "Bah Bah." He's been making lots of consonate sounds for the past couple of weeks, but he finally said a word!

When Doug came home from work today, he immediately squealed, "Da Da!"

Doug was very happy to be greeted by such a happy baby and I was thrilled to have witnesses that happy moment.

It just gets better and better.
