Six months old and rolling along

Finnegan is six months old today and he knows how to roll over. He rolled over twice yesterday right before my eyes. I didn't believe it at first because I was on the phone, so I ended my conversation and then he did it again. I was so proud of him, he's been making great developmental leaps everyday.

Last Sunday, May 1st, Finnegan ate rice cereal for the first time and yesterday he began eating green beens. He attacks the spoon and pulls it into his mouth like he's starving. He must be very hungry. He likes pulling on the spoon.

This evening he drank water from a cup and coughed a lot at first, then he got the hang of it and drank the water like a professional. He's learning so fast. It's just amazing. Last week he was lying down on his play mat and playing with his toys. This week he's sitting in his highchair eating green beans and drinking water from a cup and he doesn't like the bottle much anymore. If he had his way he'd use the spoon himself, but he can't control it yet.

He's a eatin', drinkin', pacifier totin' baby.
