Sitting up for bathtime

The one time that I really want to document Finnegan's progress and I couldn't because I needed both hands to wash him.

Today we tried something different. I put him in the tub where he can sit
up and hold the rails of a T that holds him in place. I also replaced the shower head with a long hose shower head and it worked great.

After lining the tub with towels to cushion his sitting area and to prevent slipping I placed him in the seat and he held onto the rail with his chubby little hands and was ready to get the show on the road.

We were able to take a bath without any crying and I didn't get completely wet either. That's a success in my book. He looked so cute sitting in his tub that I imagined him sitting on a ride at Disneyland ready for some excitement. I think he's now ready for the highchair and we can play games with him sitting up.

Right now he's practicing his "oo" sounds and doing very well with them.
I'm laughing because the hair that is left on top of his head curled up into big loopy curls and it's quite the pompadour. He's starting to show all of his eight teeth when he smiles and it's very exciting. He likes to test them out every once in a while on my fingers and he's got so much strength in his jaw. Ouch!

That's progress for you.
