Eight is enough!

Four more teeth and he'll have the dirty dozen in his mouth and he just turned five months old today.

Now that I am giving Finnegan full doses of Tylenol his pain is under control and crying too. I feel better because I know he does. We slept fairly well last despite the feedings and diaper changes which are now a normal part of a good night's sleep. So today life is pretty good.

We managed to run two errands and eat a Vietnamese deli sandwich. I had been anticipating that sandwich so much that I didn't notice the chili peppers on it and wow! My gums, lips and tongue were on fire!!! To make matters worse the soda I had purchased did not have a twist off cap! I was in pain.

In an act of desperation I jumped out of the car, rummaged through Finnegan's things and drank heartily out of his sippy cup. Thank God for small favors. After I put out the fire in my mouth I noticed that a woman in the parking lot was smiling at me. I raised my cup with the funny little handles on it to her and drank the last drop.

Bon Appetite indeed!
