First Teeth!

Okay, so I've been totally clueless about this, but I didn't even consider that he might be teething.

For the past week or so, Finnegan has had bouts of fussiness that I just couldn't figure out the reason. He wasn't always fussy.

So, I noticed that he was chomping on his gums and I figured it was baby behavior. I thought the excessive drooling was because he kept putting every one of his toys in his mouth.

While talking to my mother a few days ago she asked if he was teething and I said no. Boy, was I wrong and completely oblivious. This afternoon I was feeding him and afterwards he kept pulling my fingers into his mouth. I didn't mind so I let him suck on my knuckle and then I felt something sharp! A quick examination showed two baby teeth breaking through middle of the lower gums.

Wow! He's growing so fast. Two teeth at four months and three days. I'll post a photo as soon as I can capture an image of the budding teeth.
