Alone with Finnegan while Doug is away

Well, it's 3:00 am and this is our first night together while Doug is away and it's going pretty well, except I can't sleep. Finnegan just finished sleeping for six hours in the crib and then I moved him over to the bed, his absence kept me away. I kept getting up to check on him. We'll see if I can sleep now that he's with me.

Since I couldn't sleep, the house is now clean, all of my gifts to friends are packaged and I'm almost done with my thank you notes. I suppose the insomnia is a blessing in disguise, it helped me get some things done. Unfortunately, I'm going to be a zombie tomorrow, when Finnegan will want to play. I'll do my best to sleep when he's sleeping to catch up.
